Funeral Flowers Eco Floristry Mechanics - 20 June 2023

£50.00

Hands-On Workshop for Florists & Flower Growers with Toria Britten of Wildly Beautiful

Date: 20 June 2023

Time: 9:30am to 4pm

Total Price: £180 (flowers supplied by us); £130 (Bring Your Own flowers)

Whether you are just starting out or an experienced florist this is a great workshop to learn all about non-floral foam mechanics and techniques for funeral flowers.  This is a hands-on workshop where we will teach you how to make funeral flowers in a sustainable way without the use of floral foam.

To book: Pay only £50 now (When we reach the minimum number of 6 students, we will confirm the workshop ASAP and collect the balance, otherwise £50 payment will be returned to you; so invite your friends and share the event with who you know will enjoy this day with you.)

Assistant Florist: Aizel Finch

Following Toria’s demonstration, you will make a hand tied sheaf with our guidance and help. Together we will then make up a coffin spray of bouquets.  This is a very popular version of a coffin topper as the flowers can be shared with family and friends after the service.

There will be lots of opportunities to take photographs, share ideas with like-minded students, ask questions about pricing, talk about how to get funeral work and discuss other options for funeral tributes.

Tea, coffee and cake included; please bring your own lunch with you.

(Toria used to run an interior design business before becoming a flower grower florist.  With many years of experience behind her in floristry all without use of floral foam, not only has she become one of my very good mentors, but also a lovely and most welcome friend in the industry.)
